How to Make Korean Spicy Chicken Stew (닭도리탕)


Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Stew:
닭도리탕: ("dahk-doh-leeh-tahng")

6 pc. drumsticks
3 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sake or wine
1/2 cup red pepper paste (gochujang)
1 tbsp soup stock (dashida)
1 large potato
2 medium onions
1/2 carrot

prep time: 5 minutes / cook time: 40 minutes

    May I know what is the brand of soya sauce you used?
    Can I use soju to substitute sake/white wine?
    Is it necessary to put the soup stock(dashida)?
